New York Independent Casualty Adjuster (Series 17-65) Course

(1) With the New York Independent Casualty (Series 17-65) Adjuster license, the adjuster may have the authority to investigate and adjust all claims arising under the policies of:

(A) Personal injury liability - Not automobile claims
(B) Property damage liability - Not automobile claims
(C) Burglary and theft insurance
(D) Glass insurance
(E) Workers' Compensation and employer's liability insurance
(F) Boiler and Machinery insurance
(G) Elevator insurance
(H) Credit insurance
(I) Animal insurance
(J) Collision insurance (not automobile)
(K) Legal services insurance
(L) Water damage insurance

(2) PLEASE NOTE: This license does not permit the adjusting of automobile claims, aviation, inland marine, flood, or property loss insurance claims other than those noted above. This is a very restrictive license and consideration should be given to the New York Independent General Adjuster license (Series 17-70) in order to adjust all of the above type of claims including automobile.
