State law changes over the previous year affecting claims adjuster licensing and renewal are listed here, the latest changes are listed first.
Please understand that the effective date of a legislative change does not always mean the corresponding adjuster state licensing exam will be immediately updated to reflect that change. We monitor the legislative changes and include the new changes while pointing out that the student may still see the old information as the correct answer on the adjuster state licensing exam.

ALASKA
Students are permitted to take the state exam using OnVUE (online) four times per exam. First time failure - must wait 7 days to retest; second time - must wait 14 days to retest; third time - must wait 30 days to retest.
